Hello!

My Resting Bitch Face

Turns out a Resting Bitch Face is a real thing. Seems the facial muscles that held up my beautiful face through my 75 years have lost some of their elasticity, their tone. Yeah sure, I’ll add that to my freakin’ list! Add in a touch of gravity, eh voilà, my Resting Bitch Face.

Monkey Business

This blog may cause your face to scrunch up in a less than attractive way and sounds reflecting just how revolting the whole thing is, may escape from your mouths. But bear with me, this is actually not about my ear wax, it is about Jane Goodall.

Let’s eat, Bumpy

Well to you naysayers I offer you proof, although harm may come to you, if you choose to take up this challenge. Write a card or a letter to your wife or girlfriend, or partner, as you choose. In that card inscribe the following …

Gratitude

And there it was, hiding in plain view, something I could not have experienced until I was older, ’bout 75 or so, seems about right. I smiled as the thought grew in my mind, as I was driving down to the Fuller Lake Arena that morning,

    1. Thanks BG. I’m learning a ton and for a storyteller communicator such as I am, I feel like a kid in a candy store. I’m going to post Koby’s story in the spring. I’ll let you know.

    1. You are too kind ‘Debb with Two Bs’. But please manage your expectations lest you be washed ashore, foundering on the Rocks of Profound. My thoughts are at best the idle musings of a muddled mind. That said I am so pleased you read this piece. Cheers.

Hi Tony, with regard to your post on council of the wise,I’m on board with all of what you suggest, but I’m pretty sure i’m the “dennis” you speak of in the post,& my name is actually Dan,which I guess just supports your premise of why people over 70 shouldn’t hold political office!LOL

    1. You make a good point ‘Dennis’, which is why of course you were elected to the auspicious station on the Council of The Wise in the first place. That said I had determined but failed to tell you, that ‘Dennis’ should be your nickname so as to provide anonymity for your work of The Council. Now my other theory is this ‘Dan’, if that is your real name …

  11. Wondering whatever happened to John ‘Jack’ Rolls of Ross River, Yukon. Know he got sentenced for murder and won his appeal, but never heard anything more. Did he get a new trial? Where did he live out his days, assuming he’s since passed? Heard he was a WW2 veteran as well, but haven’t seen anything written about that. Just curious.

    1. He did get a new trial and he had some success. He died some years ago now back in Prince George. I don’t want to say anymore because it may spoil the story … the 2nd episode will be posted Friday on my blog and on KelownaNow.com

Tony: I came across your VPS piece today – you and your brother were just starting your VPS career as I was completing my time there; I’m the guy in the school photo seated to the right of Mrs. Stacy between Dolmage & Sigalet on the right side! If the spirit moves, please contact me by e-mail. Aloha, Brian
